EXTREME FAIRY TALES (1940s-1960s)
Boris Karloff narrates the first fantasy fairy tale in this collection - The Emperor's Nightingale. It's a puppetmation treat. Also included is Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion version of Rapunzel. The DVD boasts uncut and restored to their full-lenth versions of fairly tales that were edited for TV play. Animator Ub Iwerks who did a lot on the early Disney cartoons is represented here along with other short cartoon and animated shorts.
