GODMONSTER OF INDIAN FLATS (1973) - DVD
Whoah! Stop the horses. This may be the weirdest horror movie of all time. Imagine THE CREEPING TERROR meets BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS meets BLAZING SADDLES. An eight foor sheep monster in an old west town. It's got a mad doctor that acts like Dan Akroyd as Elwood Blues. A half-baked sheep farmer. The beautiful assistant.
Then a subplot about a guy trying to buy mining property. The town leaders don't like him and frame him for killing a dog! (The dog isn't even dead) That's so the other townspeople won't like him and sell him their property.
Meanwhile back at the lab the monster sheep is growing...the doctor calls it a throwback! It walks on two legs and most resembles the Snuffaluffagus from Sesame Street. It's origins seem to be strange underground gas (and maybe an alien intervention) that causes a baby sheep to mutute. Truly mind wrenching.
There are loads of extras on this disc. Two farmer control films about rats and then one about flies. They're kinda interesting from a weird, dated perspective. The other extras are trashy Something Weird Video fare.
