A fake spiritualist with a black raven, suddenly finds himself haunted by a client's dead husband. There's a great creepy scene where a ghost-like swirling image of a white dressed figure is coming at the heroine. A top notch forgotten gem!
THE MAD MONSTER (1942) A doctor (George Zucco) performs experiments on his gardener (Glenn Strange) and creates a wolf man. If you're looking for a poverty row horror from the golden age that's not boring -- this is it!
THE MONSTER MAKER (1944) A doctor injects a man with deforming acromeglia, making him hideous. A murderous gorilla is thrown in for good measure to complete the party. Nicely filmed B budget programmer. J. Carrol Naish stars.
