MARS INVADES THE EARTH (1951/1957) - DVD
A double feasture comprising of a 1951 episode of the early TV show "Lights Out." This episode is called THE MARTIAN EYES. The other feature is the seldom seen depiction oft he night of the classic radio play called THE NIGHT AMERICA TREMBLED. It's hosted and narrated by newsman Edward R. Murrow. The classic 57 minute TV show features great acting with a cast including Ed Asner, a young Warren Beatty, Vincent Gardenia, James Coburn and Warren Oates. The story focuses on people's reactions as the radio show that paniced America is broadcast. A pretty good looking recreation of the radio studio in action with incredible performances by those frightened to hystera by it. A real unearthed gem of an early TV drama. It is REALLY good. Highly recommended from the crypt at Creeepy Classics.
