Magical eerie adventure, so thick with atmosphere that you'll need an axe to cut it! Beautiful French film with arms holding candles in the wallls, statues with eyes that move and a terrific looking Beast (and beautiful Beauty)! Sub-titled. Wonderous and creepy, highly reccomended!

Really excellent horror thriller with Frances Lederer as a Dr. Moreau-type. It is kinda a cross between ISLE OF LOST SOULS and MOST DANGEROUS GAME. Really excellent acting and story....pretty shocking for 1959 with a horrifying panther-man-monster.

New and still factory sealed! It's a classic. Boris Karloff's second time out as the monster, quite crispy after being burned in the windmill fire from the previous film. Elsa Lanchester is beautiful and weird as the twitchy Monster's Mate!

Raymond Burr turns into an ape (or does he?), after a voodoo woman curses him. Almost a re-write of THE WOLF MAN. Lon Chaney Jr.'s along for the ride too. He's a local law official on an island whose accent comes and goes from scene to scene. Great stuff.

Lugosi in his last speaking role is terrific in this Ed Wood opus (!). This is the one with the rubber octopus and Tor Johnson getting whipped by Lugosi! If you haven't seen an Ed Wood movie, this might be the one to get started on.

I don't know why some people don't give this it's due. I found it delightful. A spy "double agent" thriller with Karloff as a German agent sporting, not a tie, but a huge scar down his face. Exciting and fun.

A Roger Corman classic. Dick Miller, who you've seen in numerous character role parts, steals the show (and the bodies) in this one. He's a waiter in a beatnik coffeehouse and a homicidal artist on the side. Killer-diller drive-in fare!
